Photo Gallery: ‘Black82’ opening event kicks off Black History Month festivities

On Feb. 2, Black82, a committee that holds several events during Black History Month at Virginia State, held an opening event at Anderson Auditorium. The event was in a talent show format, with performances from singers, dance groups, poets, DJs, and more. Black82 releases a schedule of events every Feb. with activities for students to attend during Black History Month. This Feb.,  students can attend the “I Have a Dream” Career Expo, a Gym Jam, a Black Wall Street x African-American Museum event, and more.
