On March 1, Women’s Appreciation Month celebrations kicked off with a Talent Show hosted by the Women’s Appreciation Month Committee. So many student organizations and groups showcased their talents, and a spotlight was given to women groups on campus. Students watched performances from the Woo Woos, the Black Dragon Drill Team, poets, singers, and more. There were also trivia and giveaways by the sophomore class council. “Now that it’s Women’s Appreciation Month, I really want to get out more,” said freshman psychology major Kharissa Gindrow. “It’s exciting to see everybody perform.”
