Outdoor+Track+to+host+Trojan+Invitational+Meet

The Virginia State University Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track teams will play host to track teams from across the region as they prepare for the CIAA Championships.

The VSU Invitational will take place on Saturday, April 27, at Rogers Stadium beginning in the morning.

Recent upgrades to the track facilities will allow for the meet to host teams with not only the regular running events, but also many other field  events.

So far this season the outdoor track teams have competed at the Weems Baskins Meet at the University of South Carolina, the NSU Invitational at Norfolk State University, the Trojan Relays at the University of Mount Olive, and most recently at the Morgan State Legacy Meet at Morgan State University.
