Virginia State University provides many vibrant heartbeats on it’s campus. There is the Trojan Athletics Department, the WooWoos, the Trojan Explosion Marching Band and the Royal Court. And then of course there is Greek Life.
On Friday, March 6, 2026, and Saturday, March 7, 2026, family, friends and supporters gathered as Virginia State showcased new the Greek Life Membership Presentation for the Divine 9 organizations and the National Honorary Band Fraternities and Sororities.
Kicking off the presentations the distinctive men of the Beta Gamma Chapter Of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. showcased The ‘Centennial’ Spring 26 Line in honor of the chapter’s 100 Year Anniversary.
The Alpha Phi (E) Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. made their presence known as well on Friday Presenting 20 young achieving men.
According to VSU.edu many of the Greek community at VSU are comprised of fraternities and sororities that are governed by the National Pan-Hellenic Council Inc.
This council is an umbrella organization that promotes unity among its affiliate members and monitors their activities through an interdisciplinary board.
In addition to Alpha Phi Alpha and Kappa Alpha Psi, there were several other organizations which presented members on both nights. They include Kappa Kappa Psi, Tau Beta Sigma, Groove Phi Groove, Sigma Alpha Iota, Iota Phi Theta, Sigma Gamma Rho, Pershing Rifles and Delta Sigma Theta.
